Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant.

Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries. The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list.

The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones. In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping. Clark’s Houston also offers a semi-private dining room for special occasions and events.

Louis Swiss Bakery founded in 1982 by the Tornare Family, who brought the family bakery from Switzerland to Colorado. A partnership between local Jill Soffer and Austin, Texas based MML Hospitality was formed in 2022 to own and operate the bakery along with longtime MML baker and pastry chef, Jennifer Tucker. The bakery continues to serve freshly baked artisan breads and pastries as well as breakfast and lunch specials at its location in the Aspen Business Center.

Howards is part neighborhood tavern, part dance party serving classic cocktails, ice cold beer, and bar snacks. The disco ball, loungey banquettes, and high fidelity equipment makes for a one-of-kind hangout. Howards features regular music programming including DJ sets with local, national, and international talent as well as other music activations. Classic cocktails and drinks include: Creole Cocktail, Pink Lady, Hotel Nacional, Blackberry Air Mail, Draft Espresso Martini, large whiskey selection and Guinness on tap. Bar Snacks include: Fried Cheese Curds with Jalapeño Ranch, Homemade Soft Pretzel, Chips and Caviar, Kraut Dog and Chicago Dog.

Rosie's is an intimate, lively wine bar located off Blanco Street behind Howards Bar & Club. The eclectic rotating wine list features bottles from around the world with an emphasis on natural winemaking from unique terroirs and small producers. The menu features small plates inspired by the cuisines of Spain, Portugal, and France. The cozy space features a long bar and secluded patio. Rosie’s is walk-in friendly.

Las Montañas serves Mexican food with Tex-Mex specialities. We are open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The second floor restaurant, with views of the surrounding mountains, includes a large dining room with table and booth seating, large bar, two outdoor patios, and ample space for large parties. The colorful interior, designed by Lambert McGuire Design, features familiar Mexican elements such as arched door openings, weathered wood detailing, bright tile, and rustic furniture.

Menu highlights include ten types of table top sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, queso with tostadas and fresh tortillas, ceviches and aguachiles, nachos, and lobster quesadillas. In addition to a large selection of tequilas, mezcal, and other agave spirits, Las Montañas will feature frozen cocktails, cold beers, and an extensive wine list.

Ski Shores Cafe on Lake Austin was founded in 1954 by the Fowler Family as a hamburger joint and watering hole on the “beach” with 25 cent beers for water skiers who ventured far up the lake. For over 60 years, Ski Shores Cafe has been a landmark lakefront destination known for its laid-back vibe, family-friendly fun, griddled burgers and fried catfish. Pecan Square Café is a neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Clarksville. It features a simple, seasonal menu and serves lunch and dinner seven days a week and brunch on the weekends. PSC is defined by relaxed but sophisticated service and warm hospitality that works in tandem with the rustic food and wine programs inspired by the sun-soaked cuisines of California, the Mediterranean, and, of course, Texas. It has an open residential feel featuring three distinct spaces: a cedar clad bar, a vaulted dining room, and a stone patio. The bar room includes a long copper-topped bar for drinks and dining, leather banquettes, and an airy and light-filled space. The main dining room, separated from the bar room by large, original wood doors features white plaster walls, a cozy fireplace, and an open kitchen complete with wood-burning oven. A 30-seat patio with another fireplace takes advantage of refreshed gardens and hardscaping creating shady outdoor dining and lounge space.

Menu Highlights: Oeufs Mayonnaise with Poached Bay Shrimp; Zucchini Fritto Daily Pizzas and Handmade Pastas; Woodfire-roasted Chicken for Two.

Wines & Cocktails: The wine list focuses on wines from around the world and highlights specific producers including Texas wineries, William Chris and Alta Marfa, as well as Oregon’s The Eyrie Vineyards and Maysara Winery. Cocktails will be classic and straightforward with seasonal twists.

Favorite Pizza is a classic pizza shop, on the corner of West 6th Street and West Avenue in downtown Austin. Favorite sits next door to its sister restaurant, Sammie’s Italian, which opened in Spring 2021.

Favorite Pizza pays homage to the neighborhood pizza joint in look, feel, and menu—serving whole pies, slices, subs, and salads, as well as beer on tap, wines by the glass and bottle, frozen cocktails, and gelato. Available for dine-in, takeout, and late-night window service, Favorite shares the love for a quick bite on the go as well as a quality pie and a frosty pitcher of beer split with friends. Specialty pizzas, as well as the option to build your own pie, will be available in addition to classic salads like Caesar and
Chopped, and meatball and Italian subs. The menu is made to order with a selection of slices always available at the counter. The space includes sit-down bars, drink and eating rail, and outdoor seating.

Sammie’s is a little taste of old Italy in downtown Austin. It celebrates the great ‘red sauce’ institution—inspired by old school, legendary Italian-American restaurants. The menu offers classic dishes in a casual but sophisticated, retro-designed space that is both lively and comfortable, capturing the essence of a night out at your favorite neighborhood joint. The space consists of a central dining room overlooking Shoal Creek and 6th Street, polished wood bar, Mildred’s Room (a private dining/wine room), and wraparound patio dining area.

The menu offers riffs on standards including Housemade Mozzarella Sticks, Clams Casino, and Caesar Salad a la Tommy; timeless pastas like Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Linguine Vongole; and Sammie’s Classics: big portions of iconic plates like Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Baked Manicotti. The Griglia section includes Whole Lobster with Garlic-Lemon Butter and Dry-Aged Bistecca alla Fiorentina for two. Cheesecake, cannoli, and gelato round out the meal. The wine program is Italian-focused, the beer Italian, and the cocktail list includes classic and signature cocktails including special Martini and Apetitivo sections.

Located on Austin’s vibrant South Congress Ave., Neighborhood Sushi serves Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual & beautiful setting. The reimaged space was home to Lou Lambert’s Liberty Pie & Catering, where Larry McGuire got his start 20 years ago.

Neighborhood Sushi provides guests an approachable sushi experience with influences of Texas flavors, Japanese design and Austin hospitality. Fresh & light soups, salads and small plates follow traditional sushi bar inspirations. Enjoy a selection of crispy seafood and local vegetable tempura with a Hitachino on draft out back on the Congress facing Sake Garden.

Nigiri in classic cuts of Japanese Red Snapper, Sea Bream and Santa Barbara Uni are complemented by vegetarian preparations of Texas Sweet Corn topped with togarashi & serrano, and specialty bites like the Kushi Oyster with mignonette pickle. Rolls and hand rolls round out the menu with original arrangements of Grilled Enoki Mushrooms with yuzu kosho and Tempura Shrimp with coconut macadamia and purple shiso.

“Little” Swedish Hill is newest location of MML Hospitality's bakery and cafe. Little Swedish, located in Clarksville along West Sixth next to Howards Bar & Club, features an all-day menu and full coffee bar with many Swedish classics and favorites including freshly baked croissants, bagels, breads, and pastries; breakfast specials, soups and salads as well as signature and made-to-order sandwiches on freshly baked breads. A full deli case, in true Swedish Hill tradition, will be available, too. Service is primarily to-go & pickup but an outdoor parklet along West 6th will debut shortly.

A focus of the “Little” Swedish Hill is its quick service coffee bar program utilizing Intelligentsia coffee and Kilogram whole leaf teas. Speciality drinks include matcha, masala chai, and seasonal cold beverages and fresh juices.

A full service Swedish Hill will return once the Sixth&Blanco development is completed.

At Lou’s, early risers can enjoy Intelligentsia Coffee, breakfast tacos, donuts and pastries from Swedish Hill. For lunch & dinner, in-house rotisserie is added to the all day offerings, including beef, chicken, and cauliflower, served by the plate or family-style with homemade dipping sauces. Salads, sandwiches and sides round out the offerings, sticky Brussels sprouts and cole slaw, with frozen custard topped with salted caramel, sour cherries, pistachio brittle or warm chocolate mocha for dessert.

LOU'S EASTSIDE
Outside, an expansive back patio encourages afternoons of ping pong and live music all while cooling off under the warm Texas sun with a crisp cappellitti spritz. Our drink menu includes horchata and agua fresca along with a selection of wine, beer and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.

LOU'S BARTON SPRINGS
Lou’s Barton Springs, like the original Lou’s Eastside, is a laid back, no-frills, all day spot offering a little something for everyone. Ideal for pit-stops before heading to Zilker, early mornings for donuts, coffee, and tacos, and evenings with friends, pitchers of beer, and a tableful of burgers, fries, salads, and other snacks. The restaurant has a roadhouse look and feel with an abundance of wood-elements including a cedar-lined screened patio, wainscoting, comfy booths, picnic tables, and refurbished wood-plank floors.

Joann’s Fine Foods is a lively neighborhood cafe and cantina located in the iconic Austin Motel, along bustling South Congress. The vibe is laidback with a rambunctious streak especially out on the patio and at the palapa-style bar. The decor is classic American diner—if that diner took a vacation to Baja California and never came home.

The menu features Tex Mex and diner classics, as well as a full bar with an extensive tequila and mezcal selection. Favorites include Wood-Grilled Fajitas with tortillas made in-house daily, Joann’s Queso, Avocado & Tuna Tartare, Tacos and Quesadillas, Enchilada Plates and diner specialties including Stone Ground Blue Corn Pancakes, Patty Melt, and Club Sandwich. Clark’s Aspen is the 2nd location of MML Hospitality’s popular neighborhood oyster bar set in the historic & beloved former Little Annie’s location. The Clark’s team has worked to uphold much of the charm of the previous tenant including fully restoring its mahogany bar. The restaurant also features a bustling open kitchen and alpine version of Clark’s dockside aesthetic.

Clark’s Aspen is open year-round offering the country’s very best oyster & caviar selections from its marble raw bar, freshly baked sourdough, overflowing lobster rolls, delicious burgers, steaming bowls of chowder & cioppino and more. Open for Lunch, Dinner and Happy Hour every day!

Pool Burger is a burger trailer and tiki bar located right above Deep Eddy Pool and below the Cabaret. Pool Burger's 1968 Airstream serves griddled all-natural, hormone-and-antibiotic-free wagyu beef on homemade buns. The island-vibe yard and decor are inspired by the group's favorite beachside hangouts.

The full-bar features classic tiki cocktails including a traditional Mai Tai, a frozen Hurricane, and a mezcal Depth Charge. Simple selections of draft and can beer and Rosé are also available.

June’s All Day is a little bit of Paris in Austin—a neighborhood cafe and bar offering late breakfast, brunch, and an all day menu late into the evenings, along bustling South Congress Avenue.

The bistro-style food menu (think Croque Madame, Steak Tartare & Frites, Grilled Chicken Paillard, & Steak au Poivre) is complemented by a frequently changing wine & bar program including unique bottles and classic cocktails The restaurant has a wraparound patio (open year round) and is ideal for people watching and hanging with your friends.

Partners Ron & Peggy Weiss and Jeff Weinberger opened Jeffrey’s in 1975 to bring a simple café to the quiet, historic Clarksville neighborhood in Austin.

Elizabeth Street Café is a neighborhood Vietnamese cafe and French bakery. The restaurant features sunny dining rooms and a shady garden patio for breakfast, lunch, brunch, happy hour, and dinner. The full restaurant menu is also available for takeout.

Elizabeth Street Café offers homemade croissants, fresh baked banh mí baguettes, spring rolls, steaming bowls of phô, spicy curries and daily changing macaron flavors. Stumptown coffee, Kronenberg on tap, creative cocktails & fruity boozy punch, and a fun kids menu are all available.

Perla’s was founded in the spring of 2009 by chefs Larry McGuire and Tom Moorman Jr. with the goal of establishing a great oyster bar & seafood joint on Austin's beloved South Congress Avenue. Perla’s offers fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from both coasts with an emphasis on sourcing from the Gulf of Mexico and simple, clean preparations.

Perla’s is home to Austin’s prettiest oak-shaded patio and a comfortable airy dining room featuring a huge saltwater fish tank, poured concrete oyster bar and open kitchen. Perla’s hosts an annual anniversary crawfish boil every April.

Located in the carefully restored & historic Schneider Brothers Building, Lamberts serves up slow smoked BBQ & modern Texas cooking with local beers, classic cocktails and new world wines.
