San Lorenzo & Paradise Lounge

Paradise Lounge is a bright and airy, sun-drenched bar open to guests who are looking for daytime cocktails and small bites or drinks before or after a meal at San Lorenzo. The custom mosaic tiled floors are inspired by the original floors found in the building. The bar’s walls are hand painted by local New Orleans artist, Anne Marie Auricchio with a flora and fauna theme.

Elizabeth Street Café Nola

Elizabeth Street Café is a brightly-colored neighborhood French-Vietnamese-style café and bakery adjacent to the main hotel building featuring limited indoor space as well as a shady garden courtyard surrounded by palm trees and serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner items as well as to-go items. Menu highlights include Ginger-Chili Oil Dumplings, Banh Mi, Bun, Cha Ca Red Fish, Chicken and Kaffir Lime Laap.

Chapel Club

From a relaxed daytime hangout to a pre-dinner cocktail spot to a late-night lounge, Chapel Club is a guest-only experience that aims to recreate the look and feel of classic grand hotel salons. Design elements include a neon-lit entrance, hot pink velvet bar siding, and a black and white marble top.

The Peacock Mediterranean Grill

Open daily, the Peacock Mediterranean Grill is inspired by the colorful culinary styles of Israeli and Turkish fare. Spit-roasted meats and vegetables are grilled over a wood-burning oven, while flavorful dips and mezze platters, such as cheese saganaki, oak-grilled octopus, toasted almond muhammara and english pea & feta are meant for sharing. Weekly breakfast and weekend brunch feature freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, baked goods and larger plates. The Mediterranean-focused wine list has an emphasis on coastal, natural wines, as well as a refreshing cocktail list.

Goldie's Sunken Bar

Goldie’s is an intimate cocktail bar serving as an elegant setting for a posh celebration, sophisticated afternoon drinks or a romantic evening out, open to hotel guests and residents only. The focal point of the room is a marble sunken bar, surrounded by a plush array of tweed and velvet seating. Seasonal cocktails like Arctic Falcon, Amsterdam at Midnight and Alpine Swift will rotate based on ingredient availability, while the classic martini, Pink Lady and other favorites will remain as mainstays on the menu.

The Mockingbird Coffee, Falafel & Rotisserie

The Mockingbird is a casual, sidewalk café at the Austin Proper Hotel & Residences providing coffee, breakfast and all-day offerings to hotel guests, residents and downtown neighbors on-the-go. The café serves as a counterpart to the hotel lobby's restaurant, The Peacock, and offers Mediterranean-inspired fare from rotisserie and fresh pastries to Greek frozen greek yogurt, beer, wine and coffee for takeaway.

Baklava Granola Parfait, Breakfast Falafel with soft scrambled egg, and Shakshuka with halloumi are available by morning while an all-day selection of shawarma, sandwiches, rotisserie and colorful mezze platters are served throughout the afternoon. Counter Culture helms the coffee station while a grab & go menu of beer and wine, curated by MMH's beverage and wine directors.

Set adjacent to the hotel ground floor's main lobby, the sunny café features bright, breezy interiors by LA-based interior designer Kelly Wearstler, including patterned, pastel wall tiles, sidewalk-facing windows and indoor & outdoor seating for up to 40 guests. The counter-service style serves as neighborhood standby for everything from your morning coffee, to a post-run lunch to take-home dinner and wine stop on the way home.

La Piscina Ceviches & Fajitas

La Piscina Ceviches & Fajitas is the poolside bar & restaurant located on the fifth floor of Austin Proper Hotel & Residences.

La Piscina's lively fifth floor eatery offers a Texan take on Mexican fare, with an array of ceviches, oysters, grilled fish and Mexican classics like chicken en mole and cochinita pibil. Sizzling platters of fajitas feature pineapple & soya-marinated Wagyu ribeye, jumbo gulf shrimp and whole lobster, and are served on table-top planchas alongside house-made tortillas cooked over the restaurant’s open comal. Craveable, pool-friendly snacks including guacamole, queso fundido and soon-to-be-famous nachos can be enjoyed with a variety of margaritas, native Mexican spirits and an extensive small-batch tequila & mezcal list.

The handmade Oaxacan plateware and finishes complement the lively aesthetic brought to life by LA-based interior designer Kelly Wearstler. The coastal vibe offers a casual setting perfect for indoor and outdoor dining, providing a versatile space for taking in downtown Austin's views.
